Barbara in her time has been in countless films and television series. But what about the awards? Well believe it or not, it wasn’t until 1982 when she won an Academy Honorary Award for superlative creativity and unique contribution to the art of screen acting. She was constantly named, “the best actress who never won an Oscar”. She did however, win a Emmy for her show The Barbara Stanwyck Show. Then on ABC starring in the Hit Tv Series The Big Valley she would win another Emmy.
